We would like to welcome you to our website! Our school is located in Chandler, between the 101 and Price and Warner Road. We are currently accepting applications for our 2008-2009 school year. Sheila's Christian Academy will begin celebrating its 14th year in operation. Our school has been licensed with the Dept. of Health Services (DHS), and enrolled in the CACFP food program since 1995. We recently received our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Anyone can receive a dollar for dollar credit on your Arizona State taxes by contributing up to a 1,000 per year for couples. We offer a unique Montessori program for 2.5 year olds through 6 year olds and are currently registering for the 2008-2009 school year.
Class size is kept small; Maximum of 10 students per class, with a qualified an experienced teacher who is AMI certified, AAS degreed in Early Childhood, and currently attending Ottawa University. Her assistant is working on her AMS Montessori degree with South Mountain College. Each staff member also carries a fingerprint clearance card along with being CPR and First Aid certified.
The prepared environment, is set within a loving home setting. The classroom has one (1)teacher for every five (5)students. This allows your child to get the individual help they need as well as providing your child opportunities to select activities which will satisfy their curiosity, encourage their independence, and challenge them academically.
